AAI Cargo Logistics & Allied Services Company Ltd. (AAICLAS) has released its latest recruitment for Security Screener (Fresher) positions at airports like Amritsar, Vadodara and Chennai. If you’re planning to apply, here’s how the selection process works step by step:
1. Online Application & Shortlisting
- Candidates must apply online through the official AAICLAS website www.aaiclas.aero before the last date.
- Applications are shortlisted based on Graduation marks (minimum 60% for UR/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST).
- Candidates with higher graduation marks are called first for the next step.
2. Interaction (Interview)
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online/offline interaction (interview).
- The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in this interview.
3. Document Verification
Selected candidates must submit original documents like:
- Matriculation & Graduation certificates
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar Card
- Scanned signature and photo
Medical Fitness Certificate is mandatory and must include:
- Eye/Color blindness test
- Hearing test
- X-ray object recognition
- General physical fitness
4. Initial Stipend & Training Phase
Initially, selected candidates receive a stipend of ₹15,000/month. They undergo a structured training program including:
- AVSEC Induction Course
- 3-month airport security OJT
- Basic AVSEC Course
- Security equipment handling
- Screener pre-certification and BCAS testing
5. Certification & Remuneration Hike
On clearing all training exams (within two attempts), they are upgraded to Security Screener (Certified). Pay structure after certification:
- 1st year – ₹30,000/month
- 2nd year – ₹32,000/month
- 3rd year – ₹34,000/month
If a candidate fails in both attempts, the contract will be terminated.
6. Bond & Service Terms
- Selected candidates must sign a ₹1,50,000 bond for completing 3 years post-training.
- Resignation before 3 years will require repayment of this amount.
- The contract is transferable anywhere in India.
