AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment Selection Process

AIIMS Gorakhpur invites applications for various Non Faculty posts. The selection process is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification. For some posts skill tests or interviews are also included.

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

The first stage is an online written exam. The exam is MCQ type. Each question has four options.
There is negative marking. One fourth mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

The exam is held for 100 questions. Total duration is 90 minutes.

For Tutor / Clinical Instructor, the CBT includes general subjects and subject knowledge.

For Mortuary Attendant, the CBT includes General Knowledge, General Math, English and Hospital Services.

For all other posts, the CBT includes:

• General Knowledge and Computer Aptitude
• Domain Subject Knowledge

The candidates must score minimum qualifying marks:

• UR / EWS: 40%
• OBC: 35%
• SC / ST: 30%
• PwBD: 30%

Only those who score the minimum marks will be shortlisted for further stages.

2. Skill Test (where applicable)

For some technical posts, a skill test may be conducted.
This is conducted after the CBT.
Only those candidates who clear the CBT are allowed to appear.

The skill test is qualifying in nature.
Marks of skill test are not counted in the final merit but failing in the skill test leads to disqualification.

3. Interview (Only for Tutor / Clinical Instructor Post)

For the post of Tutor, the selection includes an Interview conducted by the Standing Selection Committee.

The CBT performance and interview performance together decide the merit list.

4. Document Verification

Candidates who clear CBT and skill test or interview must attend Document Verification.
At this stage all original educational certificates, caste certificates, experience certificates and ID proof are checked.

If any document is found invalid, the candidature is rejected.

5. Final Merit List

The final merit list is prepared on the basis of:

• CBT Score
• Interview Score (only for Tutor post)
• Category-wise reservation rules

Candidates who qualify in all stages and document check will be appointed.
