After ensuring the correctness of the details in the AIIMS NORCET Recruitment 2024 application form, candidates are required to pay the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 5 application fee through the payment gateway on the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 17 March 2024 at 16.59 hrs.

AIIMS NORCET Recruitment Age Limit |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the AIIMS NORCET online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the All-India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for AIIMS NORCET is;

Nursing Officer (AIIMS)
- B.Sc Nursing and Registered as a Nurses and Midwife. OR
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery and Registered as a Nursery and Midwife with 2 Year Experience in 50 Bedded Hospital.
Nursing Officer (NITRD, New Delhi)
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery / B.SC Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc with Registered in Nurses & Midwife.

Stage I: AIIMS NORCET Preliminary Examination
Scheme of Examination for NORCET: Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test
Preliminary Stage:
- The NORCET Preliminary stage is the initial qualifying examination.
- If a candidate passes this stage, they are eligible to move on to Stage II: NORCET Main, with certain conditions.
- These conditions are further explained in the process of selecting candidates for Stage II.
- However, the NORCET Preliminary results will not be used to determine the final ranking or merit of candidates.
Examination Details:
- The duration of the NORCET Preliminary examination is 90 minutes.
- The exam consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four choices for each question.
- Out of these, 20 MCQs cover General Knowledge & Aptitude, while the remaining 80 MCQs relate to the syllabus of Nursing courses taught at the essential qualification level.
- Each question carries 1 mark, making the total marks for the exam 100.
Negative Marking:
- For each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1/3 marks from the total score.
Please note that the NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying round to move on to the next stage and does not determine the final selection ranking.
Stage II: AIIMS NORCET Main Examination
Duration and Format:
- The total duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
- The exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Each question will carry 1 mark, making the total marks for the exam 100.
Question Types and Content:
- All questions will be in the multiple-choice format.
- The questions will cover the entire syllabus of Nursing courses taught at the essential qualification level.
- These questions will be designed to relate to the subject matter and will test various aspects of nursing skills and competency.
- Emphasis will be placed on case scenario-based questions to assess practical nursing skills.
Negative Marking:
- For every incorrect answer, 1/3 mark will be deducted from the total score.
How to Apply for AIIMS NORCET Recruitment 2024 |
AIIMS Recruitment 2024 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 17 March 2024 at 16.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of AIIMS NORCET application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of AIIMS NORCET application form in respect to that post for which they are applying.
- AIIMS NORCET Recruitment 2024 Candidate Can Apply Between 12 April 2024 to 17 March 2024.
