CANDIDATES ELIGIBILITY DETAILS

• Cook:
  • Candidates 10th / Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
  • Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
  • 12th Class pass from a recognised board or University.
  • Skill Test : A typing Speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.
• MTS:
  • Candidates should have Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
• Tally Clerk:
  • Candidates should have Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.
• Steno Gd II:
  • 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognised board or University.
  • Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m. Transcription : 50 mts (Eng), 65 mts(Hindi) (on computer)
• Assistant Accountant:
  • B.Com from recognized University. Other – Training in Accounts work.
• Carpenter:
  • Matriculation pass from recognized Board.
  • Must have sufficient experience & knowledge of carpentry.
• Regular Labourer:
  • Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

• Skill/ Trade Test (As Applicable)
• Medical Test

Place of Posting: The posts are presently located at Mumbai except the post of Safaiwala which is located at Mumbai and Jamnagar and post of Messenger at Pune. However, all the posts carry All India Service liability & selected individuals are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Scheme of Examination: A written test will be held which will have questions of the level of Class 10th. Paper will have four sections evaluating questions on Gen Intelligence and reasoning, Gen Awareness, Mathematics and English would also be subjected to Practical examination/ Skill test wherever applicable.

Negative marking @ 0.25 marks per wrong answers is also applicable. Candidates appearing for written test would also be subjected to practical/skill test.

Place of written Test and Practical/Skill Test: The written test and practical/ skill test will be held at Embarkation Headquarters, 2nd Floor, Nav Bhavan Building, 10 R Kamani Marg, Ballard Estate, Mumbai-400 001.

Copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.

1. Educational and professional qualification certificates.
2. Birth certificate (Matriculation Certificate).
3. Caste Certificate, if you belong to reserved category.
4. Experience Certificate. If any relevant to post.
5. Aadhar Card/ Any other ID Card.
6. Two self-addressed envelopes affixed Rs 5/- postal stamp.
7. Two latest colour passport size photographs.
8. Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS

• Applicant should write the “Application for the post of _____ Category_____“
• Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
• Medium of writing in application form and test will be in Hindi / English only.
• No cutting or over harvesting in the application.
• Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph application will be rejected.
• Candidates should come prepared to stay for 2-3 days for completion of the recruitment process.
• Candidates have to make their own arrangements for boarding/lodging during the period of stay.
• No TA/DA would be paid to Candidates called for the examination.
