Army DG EME Group C Age Limit

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Army DG EME Group C online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Directorate General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (DG EME) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for Army DG EME Group C is;

Army DG EME Group C Eligibility Criteria

Tradesman Mate

• Matriculation pass from recognized Board or equivalent.

Pharmacist

• 10+2 and 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Registration with State Pharmacy Council.

Electrician / Electrician (Power) / Telecom Mechanic

• Pass in 10+2 with a respective trade or grade certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled Grade – II)

• Passed 10+2 with a certificate from Industrial Training Institute in the motor mechanic trade.

Vehicle Mechanic (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) (Highly Skilled-II)

• Passed 10+2 with a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the Motor Mechanic trade.

Armament Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II)

• Passed in 10+2 with a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the Fitter trade.

Draughtsman Grade-II

• i) Passed Matric or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• ii) 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from recognized Institute. OR
• i) 02 years Diploma Certificate in Draughtsmanship (Mechanical) or its equivalent.
• ii) 03 years experience in an organization of repute.

Stenographer Grade-II

• Passed in 12th class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Skill Test Norms:- Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m,, Transcription: 50 mts (Eng), 65 mts (Hindi) on computer.

Machinist (Skilled)

• Passed ITI certificate in the Machinist or Turner or Mil Wright or precision Grinder.

Fitter/ Tin and Copper Smith/ Upholster/ Moulder/ Welder/ Vehicle Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (Skilled)

• ITI certificate in the respective trade or grade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Storekeeper

• Passed in 12th class from a recognized Board / University.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

• Passed in 12th class from a recognized Board / University.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.

Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade)

• Matriculation from a recognized Board / University.
• Must possess the Civilian Driving licence for heavy vehicles.
• Have 02 years experience of driving such vehicles.

Fire Engine Driver

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
• Must have at least 3 years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving license.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.

Fireman

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
• Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting employed in fighting different types of fire.
• Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipments like fire engines, trailer, fire pumps foam branches etc.

• Passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
• Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.

Barber

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board with proficiency in Barber’s trade job.

Washerman

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board.
• Must be able to the wash Military/Civilian cloth’s thoroughly.

MTS (Daftry/ Messenger/ Searcher/ Gardner/ Safaiwala/ Chowkidar/ Book Binder)

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.

Army DG EME Group C Postal Address

Postal Address: “Read the official notification for Unit wise postal address.”

Candidates should submit their application form along with self-attested copies of necessary documents at the following address before or on the last date of application through offline mode only (By Ordinary Post Only). Application received after the last date (17 January 2025) or applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.

Required Documents to be Attached with the Application Form

Copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.

• Caste Certificate, if candidate belong to reserved category.
• Domicile Certificate & Residential Certificate.
• Copy of Birth Certificate/ Age Proof.
• Copy Aadhaar Card & Other Photo ID Card.
• Experience certificate, if any.
• A self-addressed envelope (size- 10.5 cm x 25 cm) with postal stamp of Rs 5/-.
• Two self –attested Photographs (Name and Mother’s/Father’s name on the back side of photo).
• Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

Interested candidates should send their applications as per format attached and properly sealed in an envelope to subscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF_____ and CATEGORY______ on left side on the top of envelope.

• Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
• The application can be filled by the candidates either in English or Hindi.
• The date of written test / skill test will be intimated to eligible candidates separately.
• No cutting or over harvesting in the Army DG EME Group C application form.
• Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph Army DG EME Group C application will be rejected.
