HQ Eastern Command Group C Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Messenger, Washerman, Cook

• Essential: Candidates should have Matriculation passed or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Desirable: Conversant with the duties of the respective trade with one year’s experience in the trade.

CSBO Grade-II

• Essential: Matriculation passed or equivalent from a recognized board & Proficiency in handling Private Board Exchange (PBX).
• Desirable: Fluency in spoken English and Hindi.

HQ Eastern Command Group C Recruitment Selection Process

The selection process will be solely based on merit, determined by the marks obtained in a written test that carries a total of 100 marks. . The question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. Applicants who are shortlisted for the written test will also need to undergo a skill test, which is a qualifying test and does not have separate marks associated with it.

Written Test will comprise of four parts as given below: –

Skill Test

Only candidates who have been shortlisted based on their performance in the written exam (around ten or twenty times the number of vacancies in each category) will be called for the skill test by the selection board. The eligible candidates will be informed about the dates of the written test and skill test.

The skill test aims to assess the candidate’s proficiency in the specific job they have applied for, particularly their ability to handle exchange operations (only applicable for CSBO). It will be conducted solely for the purpose of qualification and not for assigning separate marks.

• Two self-addressed envelopes affixed with postal stamps for registered post (Rs. 25/-) to be enclosed mandatory along with application.
• Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

General Conditions & Instructions

Interested candidates should send their applications as per format attached and properly sealed in an envelope to subscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ________CATEGORY_____” on the top of envelope.

• Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
• The application can be filled by the candidates either in English or Hindi.
• Separate application for each post should be applied. One candidate shall apply only one application.
• The date of written test / skill or trade test/ Interview (as applicable) will be intimated to eligible candidates separately.
• No cutting or over harvesting in the HQ Eastern Command Group C application form.
• Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph HQ Eastern Command Group C application will be rejected.
