Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the BOB Apprentice online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Bank of Baroda (BOB) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. BOB Apprentice Selection Process 2025 |
The selection for engagement of apprentices in Bank of Baroda will be conducted through the following stages:
1. Online Examination
- Mode: Online (Remotely Proctored)
- Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 60 Minutes
- Negative Marking: No negative marking
- Medium: English & Hindi (except English section)

Note:
- Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be decided by the Bank.
- 5% relaxation in aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
- Merit list will be prepared State-wise and Category-wise.
- In case of tie, older candidates (by age) will be placed higher in merit.
2. Document Verification
- Conducted for candidates shortlisted after the online test.
- Verification of documents related to age, educational qualification, caste/category and PwBD status.
- Candidates must appear at their own expense at the designated centre of the State/UT applied for.
- Non-production of required documents will result in disqualification.
3. Test of Local Language
- Conducted for candidates who qualify in the online test.
- Applicants must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the local language of the State/UT applied for.
- Those who have studied the local language in 10th or 12th class are exempted from this test (must produce mark sheet proof).
- Failing in the language test will lead to rejection.
- Candidates must appear at their own cost.
4. Medical Fitness
- Candidates who clear all the above stages must be medically fit as per Bank of Baroda’s prescribed standards.
5. Final Selection
Final selection will be based on:
- Meeting all eligibility conditions.
- Securing minimum qualifying marks in the online test.
- Successful document verification.
- Qualifying the local language proficiency test.
- Being declared medically fit.
A State-wise and Category-wise merit list will be prepared for final selection.
6. Wait List
- A wait list (State & Category-wise) will remain valid for 1 year from result declaration or until the next apprentice recruitment begins.
- Used to fill vacancies if selected candidates don’t join.
