After ensuring the correctness of the details in the CSBC Driver application form, candidates are required to pay the Driver (Constable) application fee through the payment gateway on the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 20 August 2025 at 23.45 hrs.

CSBC Driver Age Limit 2025 |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the CSBC Driver online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for CSBC Driver is;

CSBC Driver Eligibility Criteria 2025 |
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate)/ 12th or equivalent examination.
- Must possess a Valid Driving License for LMV/HMV issued at least 1 year prior to 17 July 2025.

CSBC Driver Selection Process 2025 |
1. Written Examination (OMR Based)
- Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100

- General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- Elementary Law and Constitution
- General Science
- Vehicle-related knowledge and traffic rules
- Duration: 2 hours
- Qualifying Nature: Marks obtained are only for shortlisting; not counted in the final merit list.
- Cut-off Marks:
- UR (Male): 40%
- EBC: 36.5%
- BC: 34%
- SC/ST and Female of all categories: 32%
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Only candidates who qualify the written exam are called for PET. It includes:
For Male Candidates:

3. Driving Skill Test

4. Document Verification
Candidates qualifying all previous stages must appear with original documents for verification:
- Educational Certificates (Matric or Equivalent)
- Driving License (LMV/HMV issued at least 1 year before notification)
- Reservation Category Certificates (if applicable)
- Residential and Caste Certificates
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Ex-serviceman Certificate (if applicable)
Final Merit List
- Final selection is based on:
- Driving Skill Test (out of 100 marks) including bonus points (if any) for prior contract service
- Contractual drivers in Bihar Police may get up to 25 additional marks based on experience
- No marks are awarded for the written exam
- Medical Fitness and Character Verification are mandatory before appointment

Bihar Police Driver Recruitment 2025 Online Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 20 August 2025 at 23.45 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of CSBC Driver application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
