To vaccinate citizens under Phase 3 from May 1, the central government has announced that all citizens over the age of 18 will be eligible to receive the vaccine against COVID-19 from May 1. And you will be able to take a dose in any hospital near you. For this, citizens will have to register through online medium.

Since supplying vaccines is a concern for the government, states like Maharashtra have opted for 18+ delays in roll-out. But in other states of the country, the much awaited self-registration process started on Wednesday 28 April 2021 at 4 pm.

From June 21 across the country, the central government is providing free corona vaccine to all citizens above 18 years of age in every state, 75 percent of the total vaccine production will be purchased by the Indian government from the corona vaccine manufacturers. While free to the state governments, 25 percent of the vaccine being made in India can be taken directly from private sector hospitals, this system will continue.

Private hospitals will be able to charge a maximum service charge of Rs 150 for a single dose after the fixed price of the corona vaccine. The work of monitoring it will be with the state governments only. The central government will give the vaccine according to the population of the states, the number of infected and the speed of vaccination. Significantly, several state governments had suggested that they be allowed to directly procure vaccines based on local needs and give them the priority. After this the Government of India amended the guidelines.

Many states said that they are facing difficulties regarding the vaccine. Vaccine funding, procurement and logistics influenced the pace of the national COVID-19 vaccination Programme. It was also observed that even small and remote private hospitals were facing many problems. Keeping all these aspects in mind, the National COVID Immunization Guidelines have been reviewed and amended from May 1 till date and after repeated requests from the States.

Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry on Sunday said that more than 3.06 crore COVID-19 vaccines are available with the states and union territories and they will get more than 24.53 lakh vaccines in the next three days. The Ministry said that as per the data available from Sunday till 8 am, the Government of India has so far provided more than 29,10,54,050 vaccines to the States and Union Territories. Out of this, a total of 26,04,19,412 vaccines including wasted vaccines have been consumed.

He said that at present there are 3,06,34,638 anti-COVID-19 vaccines available with the states and union territories. “24,53,080 more vaccines are ready to be sent and they will receive them in the next three days,” the ministry said.

Also told that as a nationwide vaccination campaign, the Government of India is helping the states and union territories by providing them free Kovid vaccines. Along with this, the Center is also providing the facility to the states and union territories to buy vaccines directly. “Testing, surveillance and COVID-friendly practices as well as vaccination are an important pillar of the government’s comprehensive strategy for management and prevention of this pandemic,” the ministry said.

Because where can the final and effective solution to prevent lockdown corona go, but it also has some side effects in which it also has a negative impact on the economy of the country. Vaccination is therefore considered India’s best shot against the invisible enemy covid-19. Vaccines prove to be very safe and extremely effective for all adults.

That is why the administration is continuously motivating the citizens to remove the hesitation of getting the vaccine and take advantage of the vaccine as soon as possible.
