CRPF Constable Application Fees |
After ensuring the correctness of the details in the CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 application form, candidates are required to pay the Constable (Technical and Tradesman) application fee through the payment gateway on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) website integrated with the online application. CRPF Constable Age Limit 2026 |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the CRPF Constable online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for CRPF Constable is;
- Constable Technical & Tradesman Age Limit :- 18-23 Years
- Constable Driver Age Limit :- 21-27 Years

CRPF Constable Eligibility Criteria |
Constable Driver
- Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License.
Constable Mechanic Motor Vehicle
- Matriculate or 10th Class pass (10+2 system) from a recognized board or equivalent.
- 02 years ITI Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle. And one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade. OR
- National/ State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three year duration. And one year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade.
For all other Tradesmen
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
Pioneer Wing (CT(Mason/ Plumber/ Electrician)
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- One year experience in respective trades like Masonry / Plumbing / Electrician.
- Preference will be given to those having certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.

CRPF Constable Selection Process 2026 |
The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest paramilitary force in India. It plays a key role in internal security and counter insurgency operations. Every year CRPF conducts recruitment for Constable Technical and Tradesmen posts to meet skilled manpower needs.
The CRPF Constable Selection Process 2026 is divided into multiple stages. Each stage is designed to test different abilities of the candidates.

CRPF Constable Written Exam 2026
The first stage is the Computer Based Test. It is an objective type exam conducted online. Candidates must clear this stage to move ahead.

CRPF Constable Syllabus 2026
General Intelligence and Reasoning
This section checks logical thinking and pattern recognition. Questions are based on analogies similarities differences coding decoding number series and visual reasoning.
General Knowledge and Awareness
This section tests current affairs and basic awareness of surroundings. Topics include history geography polity economy sports science and Indian Constitution.
Elementary Mathematics
Questions are from basic arithmetic. Important topics include percentage ratio profit and loss simple interest time and work time and distance and mensuration.
English or Hindi
This section checks basic language understanding. Questions are based on comprehension grammar and simple vocabulary.
CRPF Constable Physical Test PST and PET
Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for physical tests. These tests measure physical standards and fitness level.

Physical Efficiency Test
- Male Candidates: 5 km race in 24 minutes

Candidates who clear PST and PET appear for the trade test. This stage checks practical skills related to the applied trade.
Trades may include electrician plumber carpenter and other technical roles.

CRPF Constable Document Verification

CRPF Constable Medical Examination
This is the final stage of the selection process. Candidates are examined by the CRPF Medical Board to ensure they meet required health standards.
Medical fitness is mandatory for final selection.

CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 Online Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 19 May 2026 at 23.55 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of CRPF Constable application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
