📝 Selection Process – Contract & Outsourcing Recruitment 2025 (Eluru District)
The selection of candidates for 122 vacancies across various posts at Dr. Yellapragada Subba Rao Government Medical College, Eluru and Government General Hospital (GGH), Eluru, will be done through a merit-based, non-exam process. This includes the evaluation of academic qualifications, experience and service weightage.
âś… Total Marks for Selection: 100
The selection process comprises the following components:
1. 📚 Marks for Academic Qualification – 75%
- 75 marks will be awarded based on the aggregate percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination (as per eligibility for the post).
- All the marks from all years or semesters will be taken into account.
Example: If you’re applying for Lab Technician Grade-II, your DMLT/B.Sc(MLT) scores will be considered.
2. 🕒 Work Experience After Qualification – Up to 10 Marks
- 1 mark per completed year of relevant experience after obtaining the required qualification.
- The cut-off date for calculating experience is the date of notification (30.05.2025).
Example: If you completed your DMLT in 2021 and worked continuously till 2025, you’ll get 4 marks.
3. 💼 Service Weightage for Contract / Outsourcing / Honorarium Work – Up to 15 Marks
Marks will be given to candidates working or who have worked in government healthcare services under any of the following:
- COVID-19 duties
- Contract / Outsourced / Honorarium employment
🧮 Weightage Distribution:

For candidates who worked during COVID-19 (appointed by District Collector or relevant govt. authority):

âś… Must produce experience/service certificate and appointment order from competent authority (DMHO, DCHS, Principal, Superintendent).
đź“Ś Important Guidelines for Service Weightage
- Service weightage will be awarded only if the applicant submits valid supporting documents.
- Original certificates from appointing authority must be attached with application.
- Earlier submitted COVID service certificates are valid, but updated ones must be attached if more service has been rendered since.
⚠️ Rejection of Application
Your application will be rejected if:
- You fail to submit relevant educational or experience documents
- Certificates are not attested
- Application is submitted after the due date
- You apply for multiple posts in one form (must submit separate forms for each)
🧠Final Selection and Appointment
- Final merit will be calculated out of 100 marks (75 + 10 + 15).
- Top-ranking candidates will be selected for 1-year contract/outsourcing appointment.
- The panel remains valid for 1 year.
- Appointments are purely temporary and subject to government review.
There is no written test or interview for this recruitment. The entire selection process is merit-based, giving due weightage to educational performance and prior service. To ensure you’re considered, submit all required documents in the correct format and on time.
