Haryana CET Group D Application Fees |
After ensuring the correctness of the details in the CET Haryana Registration 2025 application form, candidates are required to pay the Group C & D application fee through the payment gateway on the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 16 June 2025 at 18.00 hrs.
The CET Haryana Registration 2025 fee payment can be made by using Debit card, Credit card and Net Banking etc by providing information as per the instructions on the your computer screen.
Haryana CET Age Limit |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the SSC Group C & D online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for Haryana CET is;

HSSC CET Group C Selection Process 2025 – Full Details You Must Know
If you’re planning to apply for the Haryana CET Group-C Recruitment 2025, understanding the selection process is the most important step. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released Advertisement No. 01/2025 detailing the Common Eligibility Test (CET) and its procedures.
1. What is HSSC CET Group-C Recruitment?
Haryana CET is a screening test conducted for the recruitment of Group-C posts in various state departments, boards and corporations. The CET is conducted by HSSC and applies to posts excluding teaching roles. Only candidates who qualify this test become eligible for the next round of selection.
This CET will be held under the new policy issued via Notification No. 42/119/2019-5HR-II on 31st December 2024.
2. Step-by-Step HSSC CET Group-C Selection Process
Step 1: Registration
Candidates must register at onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in. If you already registered for CET 2022, you can use the same registration number.
Step 2: CET Written Exam
The first step in the actual selection is appearing for the CET written examination. This test acts as the screening stage.
Step 3: Declaration of CET Scores
HSSC will publish the CET scores of candidates who qualify the minimum cut-off. These scores remain valid for 3 years.
Step 4: Advertisement of Posts
Departments send requisitions to HSSC. Based on the available posts, HSSC releases an official advertisement. Only CET-qualified candidates can apply for these posts.
Step 5: Application for Specific Posts
Candidates must apply online using their CET registration number. The number of candidates called will be up to 10 times the number of advertised posts.
Step 6: Written/Skill Test
A second stage examination may be held based on post requirements. This may include:
- Written Exam
- Skill Test (e.g., Typing, Stenography)
Step 7: Final Merit List
The final merit list is prepared based on marks scored in the second stage. Additional marks like NCC bonus (for Police) may be added if applicable.
Step 8: Recommendation for Appointment
HSSC will recommend the selected candidates to the respective department.
3. CET Exam Pattern for Group C Posts
- Type of Exam: Offline, OMR Based
- Number of Questions: 100 MCQs
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 1 Hour 45 Minutes
- Languages: Bilingual (Hindi & English)
Subjects & Weightage
- 75%: Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Ability, English, Hindi and Computer (for Group C)
- 25%: Haryana GK including History, Literature, Geography, Culture, Environment
Difficulty Level
- Questions are based on 10+2 level
- Hindi and English are of Matric level
Negative Marking
- No negative marking for wrong answers
- -1 mark will be deducted if a question is left unattempted (you must fill the 5th option to avoid penalty)
4. CET Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General Category: 50%
- Reserved Categories (SC, BCA, BCB, EWS, PwBD, ESM): 40%
Candidates who score below these thresholds will not be considered and must reappear in the next CET.
5. CET Score Validity and Re-Attempts
- Valid for 3 years from the date of result
- Candidates can reappear anytime to improve their score
- Latest CET score will be considered for recruitment
6. Second Stage: Post-Specific Test
After CET, HSSC may conduct another test. The second test type and syllabus will be mentioned in the post-specific advertisement. Generally:
- Written test is common
- Skill tests are only for jobs needing special skills
Cut-Offs in Second Stage
- General Category: 50%
- Reserved Category: 40%
If multiple candidates have the same score at cut-off level, all will be allowed to appear in the next round.
7. Final Selection & Appointment
- Final merit is prepared from second stage test scores
- HSSC sends the recommendation list to the respective departments
- Selection is strictly based on merit and reservation rules
Candidates once appointed cannot apply for another post in the same pay level using old CET marks after 90 days of joining.

CET Haryana Registration 2025 Online Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 14 June 2025 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of Haryana CET application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
