Age Limit

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Haryana Police Constable Band online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Commission/ Department for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.

Haryana Police Constable Band Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Education Board/Institution.
• Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject or higher education.

Haryana Police Constable Band Recruitment Selection Process

Knowledge Test (20 Marks)

All the candidates shall have to undergo a Knowledge Test of 20 marks only and the Knowledge Test will largely contain questions about the;

• Genera Knowledge.
• Maintenance and Management of musical/ban instruments.
• The standard of questions shall be as expected on an educated person having passed 10+2 exam.

There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers. The medium of examination shall be bilingual (both in Hindi as well as in English). The knowledge Test shall be of objective type having 25 questions of 0.80 marks each an test shall be of 25 minutes time duration.

Physical Screening Test (PST- Running)

• Male: 2.5 Kilometre in 12 Minutes
• Ex. Serviceman: One Kilometre in 5 Minutes

Band Skill Test (BST)

There shall be a Band Skill Test 60 marks, the candidates shall be tested in proficiency in playing the instruments and interviewed to judge their suitability for the join band staff in Haryana Police. The candidates must have knowledge of playing particular instrument, music reading or must have flair for music.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Physical Measurement Test shall be of qualifying nature only.
