The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 785 Agricultural Development Officers (ADO) – Administrative Cadre in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Haryana. If you’re planning to apply, it’s important to understand the selection process clearly, as the recruitment is merit-based and strictly follows the Haryana government rules.
📌 Overview of Selection Stages
The selection of candidates for the ADO (Administrative Cadre) post will be done in the following stages:
- Screening Test / Recruitment Test (if applicable)
- Subject Knowledge Test (Objective)

✅ Stage 1: Screening Test (Optional)
- HPSC may conduct a screening test if the number of applications received is significantly large.
- This test will be of qualifying nature only.
- The marks obtained in this stage will not be counted in final merit.
