š 1. Application Scrutiny & Eligibility Check
- Candidates must apply online through the official HPSC website: https://hpsc.gov.in
- Applications are reviewed for eligibility including age, qualification, experience, category and supporting documents.
- Only applications submitted with all required documents uploaded and signed copies are considered valid.
š§Ŗ 2. Shortlisting Criteria (If Applications Are Large)
If the number of applicants is high, HPSC will shortlist candidates for interview using one or more of the following methods:
a) Academic Merit-Based Shortlisting
- Based on percentage of marks in minimum essential qualification.
- Based on marks in multiple qualifications with weighted scores.
- Preference to candidates with higher or desirable qualifications or more experience.
b) Screening Test / Subject Knowledge Test
- HPSC may conduct a Screening Test or a Subject Knowledge Test.
- Screening test may be objective (OMR-based).
- Final selection is based on performance in written test (if conducted) and interview.
š OMR sheets must be correctly filled or they will be auto-rejected. No rechecking requests allowed.
š 3. Interview / Viva Voce
- Candidates shortlisted through the screening process (or directly, if no test is conducted) will be called for an interview.
- The interview panel evaluates the candidate’s subject knowledge, experience and suitability for the post.
š 4. Final Selection
- Final merit list is prepared based on the performance in the subject knowledge test (if conducted) and interview.
- Fulfilling eligibility does not guarantee selection; only top-performing candidates in the final assessment are recommended.
š Important Selection Rules:
- No Experience/Qualification claimed after closing date (10.08.2025) will be accepted.
- Part-time experience and private experience without supporting documents (e.g., EPF, ESI, Bank Salary Proof) will not be considered.
- Candidates must qualify in all eligibility aspects, including possessing a valid certificate for reserved categories if claiming reservation.
š E-Admit Card
- Issued online before written test/interview.
- No admit card is sent by post.
- Only candidates with valid admit cards will be allowed to appear.
