Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Intelligence Bureau MTS online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. IB MTS Selection Process 2025 |
The Intelligence Bureau conducts the Multi Tasking Staff General exam to recruit support level staff for its offices across India. The selection process is simple and it checks basic aptitude writing skills and suitability for government service. Candidates must clear all stages to get the final appointment.
IB MTS Selection Stages 2025
The selection process has three main stages:
- Tier 1 Exam
- Tier 2 Exam
- Document Verification and Final Selection
1. IB MTS Tier 1 Exam 2025
Tier 1 is an objective type test. It checks the day to day aptitude of candidates for basic government duties.

3. Document Verification

- Age proof
- Category proof
Only those who pass document checking will be considered for appointment.

Final merit is prepared based on:
