AGE LIMITS AS ON 11 JUNE 2021

• Minimum Age Required : 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limits : 25/27 Years (Post Wise)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board. 
• Must have additional qualification according to the post

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Physical/ Practical Test

• For Fireman: (a) Carrying a man (fireman lift of 65.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds).
• (b) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jumps).
• (c) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
• For All Trades (except Fireman) – Physical Tests will be carried out as decided by The Board of Officers and will be common for all trades to maintain commonality / transparency of the tests. Candidates will be disqualified immediately on failing to qualify any of the event and will not (WILL NOT) be permitted to appear in next event / subsequent tests. The candidate will be immediately escorted out of unit premises / test venue.

Written Test Part-I,II,III & IV Syllabus

• (i) Part I – General Intelligence : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making , visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
• (ii) Part II – English Language: In addition to the testing of candidates understanding of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc his / her writing ability would also be tested.
• (iii) Part III – Numerical Aptitude. This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work etc.
• (iv) Part IV – General Awareness. Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
