The Indian Navy invites applications from candidates who have respective qualification to fill various post of Direct Entry Petty Officer, Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), Matric Recruits (MR) Post through “Indian Navy Sports Quota Recruitment 2021 Notification”. Any candidate who wants to get the opportunity of service through the Indian Navy. They can send the application form By Post.

INDIAN NAVY SPORTS QUOTA AGE LIMIT

• Minimum Age Required : 17 Years
• Maximum Age Limit : 21 Years (MR)
  • Born between 01 April 2001 to 31 March 2005 (Both dates inclusive)
• Maximum Age Limit : 21 Years (SSR)
  • Born between 01 February 2001 to 31 January 2005 (Both dates inclusive)
• Maximum Age Limit : 22 Years (Direct Entry Petty Officer)
  • Born between 01 February 2000 to 31 January 2005 (Both dates inclusive)

INDIAN NAVY SPORTS QUOTA ELIGIBILITY

• Direct Entry Petty Officer:
  • Candidates should have class 10+2 qualified in any stream or Equivalent examination.
  • Sports Eligibility:
  • Team Games: Participated at International / National / State level at junior /senior level or represented a University in the Inter University tournament.
  • Individual Events: Min. 6th position in Nationals (Seniors) or 3rd position in National (Juniors) or 3rd position in the Inter University meets.
• Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR):
  • Candidates should have class 10+2 qualified in any stream or Equivalent examination.
  • Sports Eligibility:
  • Participated at International / National / State level at junior /senior level or represented a University in the Inter University tournament.
• Matric Recruit (MR):
  • Candidates should have 10th class qualified in any stream or Equivalent examination.
  • Sports Eligibility:
  • Participated at International / National / State level tournament.
• Sports Discipline: Unmarried sportsmen who have participated at International / Junior or Senior National Championship / Senior State Championship/ All India University Championships in Athletics, Aquatics, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Basket-ball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Kayaking & Canoeing, Rowing, Shooting, Artistic Gymnastics, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Squash, Fencing, Golf, Tennis,  Sailing and Wind Surfing.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION

Self-attested copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.

1. All Educational and Technical qualification certificate.
2. Birth certificate (Mark sheet ).
3. Caste certificate, if you belong to reserved category.
4. Copy of Experience. if any
5. Copy of Aadhar Card.
6. A additional coloured passport size photo. long with the application with their name and signature on the reverse of the photograph. The Background of the photograph should be Blue. (Computer generated/ digital photographs will not be accepted)
7. Two elf-addressed envelopes with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on one envelope.
8. Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS

• The type of entry, sports discipline with achievements is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelopes should be of Brown Colour. Example: Ag.PO/SSR/MR 01/2022 KABBADI – NATIONAL LEVE
• No cutting or mistakes in the application.
• The applications received after the last date will not be entertained under any circumstances.
• The Indian Navy reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, if necessary.
• Short-listing criteria will be based on higher sports achievements
• Call up letters to eligible short listed candidates will be posted, indicating date, time and place for selection trial.
• All original certificates and mark sheets are to be produced at the time of selection trial.
