Closing Date 29.08.2024: For residents of North Eastern states, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub- Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Bank Draft/IPO should be issued in favour of – FA&CAO, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach – 700043, payable at GPO/Kolkata.
Rs.400/- to UR/OBC and Rs.250/- to SC/ST/ Ex. Servicemen/ PWDs, Women, Minorities and EBC will be refunded to those eligible candidates who will actually appear in the selection/trial.
Note: Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the IPO. Applications received with cash / Money Order/ Central Recruitment Fees stamps /Cheque will not be accepted and hence will be rejected.
Indian Railway Sports Quota Age Limit |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Indian Railway Sports Quota online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the South Eastern Railway (SER) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for Indian Railway Sports Quota is;

Indian Railway Sports Quota Postal Address |
Postal Address:- The Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, New Administrative Building, 6th Floor, Garden Reach, Kolkata-700043.
Drop Box has also been provided in the RRC office building for dropping the application forms. The applications should be sent in a closed envelope with superscription “Application against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) recruitment for the year 2024-25”. LEVEL-1 or LEVEL-2/3
Candidates should submit their application form along with self-attested copies of necessary documents at the following address before or on the last date of application through offline mode only. Application received after the last date (19 August 2024) or applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.

Copies of the following certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.
- Educational and Professional qualification certificates.
- Copy of Birth Certificate or Educational Certificate.
- Copy Aadhaar Card/ Other ID Card.
- Caste Certificate, if candidate belong to reserved category.
- Character Certificate issued by the Sarpanch/ Gazetted Officer.
- Residential Certificate duly signed by the ADM/ DM or Tehsildar.
- Copy of Sports Certificate.
- Attach other necessary documents with the application form.
General Conditions & Instructions |
Candidates must clearly subscribe the word, “Application against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) recruitment for the year 2024-25”. LEVEL-1 or LEVEL-2/3” on the top of the envelope while sending the Indian Railway Sports Quota application form.
- Only one application should be submitted for the post. Candidates desirous of applying form separate posts should submit separate applications clearly indicating the post for which they have applied for.
- The application can be filled by the candidates only in English.
- Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
- No cutting or over harvesting in the Indian Railway Sports Quota application form.
- Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph Indian Railway Sports Quota application will be rejected.
- This South Eastern Railway (SER) office shall not be responsible for any kind of delay.
- The candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as given in the matriculation certificate otherwise their candidature be cancelled as and when it comes into the notice of the South Eastern Railway (SER).
