SAC Assistant Eligibility Criteria |
- Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.
- Hindi typewriting speed @ 25 w.p.m. on Computer.
- Proficiency in the use of Computers.
- Knowledge in English Typewriting (desirable qualification).

SAC Assistant Selection Process 2025 |
1) Screening
Applications may be screened on the basis of information submitted online. Only screened-in candidates will be called for the Written Test.
2) Written Test (CBT or pen-paper as decided)
- Format: Objective type test.
- Duration: 120 minutes.
- Syllabus and detailed pattern are provided in Annexure-I of the advertisement.
- Qualifying marks: 50% in each Part A B C D for UR candidates. 40% in each part for reserved categories for consideration against reserved vacancies.
- Language option: candidates may choose to appear in Hindi where specified.
3) Shortlisting for Skill Test
Based on written test performance candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in the ratio 1:5 (maximum) to the category wise number of vacancies. Overall minimum short-list will be 10 candidates.
4) Skill Test (mandatory)
Skill Test includes two parts:
- Computer Literacy Test. Pass criterion: 60% for UR and 50% for reserved categories.
- Hindi Typing Test. Candidates must type 250 words in Hindi using INSCRIPT keyboard with UNICODE font at 25 w.p.m. Pass criterion is maximum 5% mistakes for UR and 8% mistakes for reserved categories.
Note: Candidates must produce original documents for verification at the time of Skill Test. Failure to produce originals will bar the candidate from the Skill Test.
5) Document verification
All certificates for education caste disability ex-service etc must be produced in original. Uploaded documents will be verified during Skill Test. If documents are missing or found false the candidature will be cancelled.
6) Medical fitness
Selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination. Joining will be allowed only if the candidate is found fit by the authorised medical authority.
7) Final selection and merit
Final selection is made from among candidates who qualify the Skill Test. The final order is decided on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test. Marks will be kept confidential until the end of the recruitment process.
8) Tie breaking rules
If written test marks are equal the inter-se merit will be decided by:
- Marks scored in Hindi language and grammar.
- Older candidate given preference.

ISRO SAC Assistant Recruitment 2025 Online Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 02 October 2025 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of SAC Assistant application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of SAC Assistant application form in respect to that post for which they are applying.
