After ensuring the correctness of the details in the LAHDC Ladakh application form, candidates are required to pay the Lineman, Safaiwala, Wildlife Guard, Forest Guard and Other application fee through the payment gateway on the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 24 August 2025 at 23.45 hrs.

LAHDC Ladakh Age Limit 2025 |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the LAHDC Ladakh online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. LAHDC Ladakh Selection Process 2025 |
1. OMR-Based Written Examination
- Type of Exam: Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Mode: Offline, OMR-based
- Medium: English
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Duration:
- 90 minutes for general candidates
- 120 minutes for candidates eligible for scribes

2. Shortlisting for Document Verification
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on written exam performance in the following ratio:
- 1:20 for posts with up to 5 vacancies
- 1:10 for posts with more than 5 vacancies, with a minimum of 100 candidates
- Final shortlisting will be done considering cut-off scores set by the board depending on category and post.
3. Document Verification (DV)
- Candidates must present original documents for verification:
- Age certificate
- Educational qualification
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile of Leh
- Experience certificate (if required)
- Candidates failing to present required documents will be disqualified.
4. Post Preference & Counselling
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a counselling session.
- They will be allotted posts based on:
- Merit Rank
- Category
- Preference filled by candidate
- Only one post will be allotted per candidate based on final preference.
5. Final Selection
- The final merit list will be prepared based on OMR examination marks and successful document verification.
- The concerned department will issue the final offer of appointment.
- Appointment is subject to:
- Medical fitness
- Character verification
- Fulfilling all eligibility conditions

LAHDC Recruitment 2025 Online Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 24 August 2025 at 23.45 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of LAHDC Ladakh application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of LAHDC Ladakh application form in respect to that post for which they are applying.
