Mission Majnu Movie (2023) Trailer, Release Date & Real Story
Mission Majnu Movie is an upcoming Hindi-language spy thriller film directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film tells the untold story of India’s greatest covert operation that took place before and during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
However, the film suffered multiple delays, first being scheduled for theatrical release on May 13, 2022 and then June 10, the same year before being indefinitely delayed. Ultimately, the film’s theatrical release was cancelled with Netflix being chosen to release it on January 2023.

The story of this spy thriller is based on a true incident that took place in the 1970s. It will tell the story of an extremely dangerous and covert mission undertaken by India in the heart of Pakistan that changes the relationship between the two countries forever. Not much has been revealed about the film yet. The full story will be known after watching this much-awaited spy thriller.

Mission Majnu Release Date & OTT
The makers of this spy thriller had earlier announced the release date of the film. As per that announcement, it was supposed to release in theaters on May 13, 2022, later the production house RSVP pushed the Siddharth starrer to June 10, 2022.

Now the film is all set for a direct OTT release, it will be available on Netflix. Recently, Vicky Kaushal’s “Govinda Naam Mera” announced a direct OTT release lock. Mark ’20 January 2023′ on the calendar.
Mission Majnu Movie Star Cast
Along with Sidharth Malhotra going to play the role of Rajat Goyal, South Indian beauty and expression queen Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the lead role of Divya Singh. Rashmika is a rising star whose following is increasing day by day, not only in South India but also in North India. His blockbuster film “Pushpa: The Rise” took the entire India crazy with huge success and became the highest grossing Indian film of 2021, collecting more than Rs 350 crore worldwide.
After this massive success, Rashmika Mandanna will make her Bollywood debut opposite Siddharth in Mission Majnu, and it will be fun to see her in a Hindi film for the first time.

Shantanu Bagchi is directing the project, while it is written by Parvez Shaikh along with Aseem Arora and Sumit Bhatheja. It will be bankrolled by Ronnie Shruwala in association with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta under the banner of RSVP Movies and Guilty By Association Media LLP.
The announcement regarding the film was made on December 23, 2020 and the shooting/filming began on February 6, 2021 in Lucknow.
