After ensuring the correctness of the details in the NTA NEET UG 2023 application form, candidates are required to pay the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) application fee through the payment gateway on the National Testing Agency (NTA) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 06 April 2023 at 23.50 hrs.

NTA NEET UG 2023 Age Limit

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the NTA NEET UG 2023 online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. NTA NEET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria

NEET UG Codes outline the eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to take the NEET UG exam. The codes specify the academic qualifications required for admission to the MBBS or BDS courses. Let’s take a look at each of the codes and what they mean:

Code 01: Candidates who are appearing for their 12th standard qualifying examination in 2022 and are awaiting their results may apply for NEET UG 2023. However, to be eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS courses, they must pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks before the first round of counseling.

Code 02: Candidates who have completed the Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to the 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023. The last two years of study must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (with practical tests in these subjects), and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training.

Code 03: Candidates who have completed the Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or any other recognized examining body are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023. The examination must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (with practical tests in these subjects), and English as a compulsory subject.

Code 04: Candidates who have passed the Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology, and English after passing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023. The examination must include practical tests in these subjects.

Code 05: Candidates who have completed the first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Bio-technology (including practical tests in these subjects) are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023. Additionally, they must have passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology with English at a level not less than a core course.

Code 06: Candidates who have passed the B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology and have passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023.

Code 07: Candidates who have completed any other examination, which is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (including practical tests in these subjects), and English are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023. The examination must cover the last two years of 10+2 study.
