Application Fee
After ensuring the correctness of the details in the Odisha Civil Services 2023 application form, candidates are required to pay the Odisha Civil Services application fee through the payment gateway on the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 16 February 2023 at 23.59 hrs.

Odisha Civil Services Age Limit
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Odisha Civil Services 2023 online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.

Odisha Civil Services Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India.
- Must be able to read, write and speak Odia and have passed Middle School/ High School/ Class VII with Odia as a Language subject.

Odisha Civil Services Selection Process
The Combined Competitive Recruitment Examination shall consist of the following successive stages :-
- Prelims Exam: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) for selection of candidates for Odisha Civil Services Main Examination.
- Main Exam: Main Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts.
Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Exam
The Preliminary Examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers of objective types (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying a maximum of 200 marks each in the subjects set out in section-1 of SCHEDULE-III of Odisha Civil Services (CCRE) (3rd) Amendment Rules, 2022 (Annexure-I), and each paper shall be of two hours duration.

Negative Marking: For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one- third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question shall be deducted as penalty.
Odisha Civil Services Mains Exam
OPSC Civil Services Mains Exam Pattern: The OPSC Civil Services Mains exam consists of Qualifying, Compulsory and Optional Subjects. OPSC Civil Services Papers A and B are qualifying in nature. its marks will not be added to the final merit list but other answer copies will only be considered for checking only if candidates qualify for these papers.
OPSC Odisha Civil Services 2023 Mains Exam has compulsory subjects as well as optional subjects that candidates have to choose from. Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has already listed some discipline subjects out of which candidates have to choose 2 optional subjects. Each optional subject has 2 papers. The distribution of marks and time is as follows:

How to Apply for Odisha Civil Services Exam 2022
Odisha Civil Services 2023 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 16 February 2023 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of Odisha Civil Services application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
