Patna High Court Assistant Age Limit

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Patna High Court Assistant online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the High Court Patna (Bihar) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The Patna High Court Assistant Preliminary Test shall be of total 100 marks and the minimum qualifying score shall be 40 marks. 10 times candidates of the total number of vacancies (following the model roster point and the reservation policy adopted in the High Court) will be shortlisted for appearing at next stage i.e. Written Test (Descriptive Test).

Patna High Court Assistant Written Test

The Patna High Court Assistant Written Test shall be descriptive in nature and shall include two sections General English and General Hindi of 60 marks and 40 marks respectively. A candidate shall be required to obtain minimum 40% qualifying marks i.e. 24 marks and 16 marks respectively in the sections of General English & Hindi, for being considered to get shortlisted for Interview (Personality Test).

Patna High Court Assistant Skill Test

The Computer Proficiency Test will be qualifying in nature and shall include the following:-

a) Word processing Test: This test will target to test the basic typing skill of the candidates as well as their basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.

b) Test in Spread Sheets: This test will target to check the basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.

c) Internet Proficiency: This test will target to test the basic understanding of internet usage.

Patna High Court Assistant Interview

Interview will be of 10 marks and minimum qualifying marks will be 03. It is mandatory for the candidates called for interview to appear in the same otherwise they will not be included in the merit list prepared for the final result. Final merit will be prepared taking into account the total marks obtained by the candidate in the written test as well as in the interview.

Examination City 2023

Candidate must indicate name of the City (ies) in the online Application Form in which he/ she desires to take the Examination. A candidate has to give option for three cities, in the order of preference. No request for change in Examination City/ Centre will be considered later under any circumstances.
