Pune CGST Customs Recruitment Selection Process

Pune Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Custom Canteen has recently announced the vacancies for the post of Canteen Attendant. The recruitment process for this post is currently underway and candidates interested in applying for the job are required to go through the selection process for the role.

The selection process for Pune CGST Customs Canteen Attendant Recruitment is divided into two phases – a written test and a skill test. The written test will assess the knowledge of the candidates in various areas such as General Awareness, Mathematics and English Language. The skill test, on the other hand, will assess the practical skills of the candidates required for the role of Canteen Attendant.

Written Exam: The written test will consist of objective type questions, and a total of 2 hours will be given to the candidates to complete the test. The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages, and candidates can choose the language they are most comfortable with.

Syllabus: General Awareness section will test the knowledge of the candidates in Current Affairs, History, Geography and Indian Polity. The Mathematics section will cover topics like Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. The English Language section will test the proficiency of the candidates in the language including grammar, vocabulary and comprehension.

Trade Test: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for skill test. The skill test will assess the practical skills of the candidates required for the role of Canteen Attendant. Testing will include tasks such as preparing tea, coffee and snacks, cleaning utensils and equipment, and serving food to customers. The performance of the candidates in the skill test will be assessed by a panel of experts, and their scores will be used to determine their final selection.

Candidates who successfully clear both the written and skill test will be called for interview. The interview will assess the communication skills, personality and suitability of the candidates for the role of Canteen Attendant. Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates at all stages of the selection process.

• Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
• The application can be filled by the candidates either in English or Hindi.
• Separate application for each post should be applied. One candidate shall apply only one application.
• The date of written test / skill or trade test/ Interview (as applicable) will be intimated to eligible candidates separately.
• No cutting or over harvesting in the Pune CGST Canteen Attendant application form.
