Reader (Legal)

• Should have passed 10+2 / 12th examination by securing atleast 60% marks in English.
• Should possess a degree in LL.B. from a recognized University.
• Have proficiency in operation of computers (Word processing and Spreadsheet).

Peon (Residential)

• Passed Matriculation/ 10th examination from any board/institute recognized by Central/State Government.
• Minimum one year full time diploma course in cooking/culinary arts from a recognized institute.

🔶 1. Selection Process for Reader (Legal)

The selection process for Reader (Legal) involves a three-stage examination:

📌 Stage 1: Written Examination (250 Marks)

Consists of three descriptive papers conducted in English only:

⏰ Time: 3 hours for each paper
✅ Qualifying Marks:

• 50% in English paper
• 40% in each of Civil and Criminal Law papers

📌 Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (Qualifying Only)

1. Typing/Word Processing Test: Type 300 words in 10 minutes
   • Marks: Calculated on accuracy formula
2. Spreadsheet Test: 10-minute duration

✅ Candidates must score 40% in each part to qualify
⚠️ Marks will not be added to final merit

📌 Stage 3: Viva-Voce (30 Marks)

• Only candidates who qualify written + computer tests are called (up to 3x number of posts)

✅ Qualifying Marks: 35%
🏁 Final Merit: Based on total of Written (250) + Viva (30) = 280 Marks

🔍 Preliminary Screening (if needed):

If applications are large, a preliminary objective-type exam may be held.

This post follows a 2-stage practical selection method:

📌 Stage 1: Practical Cooking Test – 80 Marks

• Assess culinary and housekeeping skills
• Candidate must secure minimum 50% marks (40/80) to qualify

📌 Stage 2: Interview/Viva-Voce – 20 Marks

• Only those who qualify the practical test will be called
• Candidate must secure minimum 10 marks to qualify

🏁 Final Merit:

• Based on total marks of Practical Test + Interview (out of 100)
• Final selection purely based on merit rank
