RMLIMS Non-Teaching Selection Process 2025 |
The selection process for all Non-Teaching (Ministerial, Others, Medical & Paramedical) Posts at Dr. RML Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow will be based strictly on merit determined through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test / Interview, depending on the nature of the post.
Below is the complete and accurate selection procedure as per the official notifications:
🔹 1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
- The first stage of selection for all posts (except those requiring only interview/skill test) will be a Computer Based Test.
- The CBT will be conducted online in objective (multiple-choice) format.
- The question paper will include subjects related to:
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs
- General English
- Reasoning & Mental Ability
- Quantitative Aptitude
- and Subject-related questions (based on post qualification syllabus)
- Each question will carry one mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks in CBT will be decided by the Institute as per category-wise norms (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS).
🔹 2. Skill Test / Trade Test / Typing Test (If Applicable)
- For posts that involve clerical, typing, or technical duties, candidates who qualify in CBT will be called for a Skill Test or Trade Test.
- Examples include:
- Stenographer / Senior Administrative Assistant / Clerk Posts: Typing or Stenography test on computer.
- Workshop Technician / Pharmacist / JE / Librarian / Storekeeper / Sanitary Inspector: Practical or trade-based test.
- The Skill Test will be qualifying in nature — marks will not be added to the final merit, but failing to qualify will disqualify the candidate.
🔹 3. Interview (Only for Specific Group-B Posts)
- Some Group-B Gazetted or technical medical posts such as
- Medical Officer of Health
- Lady Medical Officer
- Child Psychologist
- Casualty Medical Officer
may include a personal interview after the CBT.
- The interview will assess subject knowledge, communication ability and suitability for the post.
🔹 4. Document Verification
- Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT (and skill test/interview, wherever applicable) will be required to appear for Document Verification.
- They must bring all original documents such as:
- Educational & Technical Certificates
- Experience Certificates
- Category (Caste/EWS/PH) Certificates
- Photo ID proof
- Application form printout
- Any discrepancy found will lead to disqualification.
🔹 5. Medical Examination
- Finally, selected candidates will undergo a Medical Fitness Test as per institute standards before final appointment.
🔹 6. Final Merit List
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (and interview, where applicable).
