- Sanskrit: Shastri or an equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with Sanskrit medium, and Shiksha Shastri/ Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.
- Punjabi and Urdu: Graduate or an equivalent examination with concerned subject as optional, and/ Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

The selection process for the 2024 recruitment cycle has been outlined in detail by RPSC. The selection process comprises the following stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination
