Application Fee

After ensuring the correctness of the details in the SS Chandigarh TGT & JBT application form, candidates are required to pay the SS Chandigarh TGT & JBT application fee through the payment gateway on the Department of Education, Chandigarh website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 06 October 2022.

SS Chandigarh TGT & JBT Qualification

Trained Graduate Teacher

• Bachelor Degree in Related Subject with Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks with B.Ed Degree and CTET Paper II Exam Passed.

Junior Basic Training

• Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University.
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) and Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET-I). OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
• Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET-I).

SS Chandigarh TGT Selection Process

Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in exam. One objective type test of 150 Marks (Part-A and Part-B) will be conducted in single / multiple shifts/sessions. Qualifying marks for each part (Part-A and Part-B separately) will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted

Written test consisting of Multiple choice questions will be conducted as under:

• Exam Type: Objective Multiple Choice Question
• Negative Marking: 0.25 Marks
• Exam Level: Questions in the test for Part-B will be based on the relevant subject and the difficulty standard will be as per qualification mentioned in advertisement. Detailed topics/ syllabus will be uploaded on the website before notification of schedule for the written test.
