SBI Probationary Officer Age Limit 2023 |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the SBI Probationary Officer online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the State Bank of India (SBI) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. - Candidates must have Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized University.

SBI Probationary Officer Selection Process 2023 |
The selection for SBI Probationary Officer Vacancy 2023 will be done through the three stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Psychometric Test, Group Exercises, and Interview
- Medical Fitness Test
- Selection
Phase-I: SBI PO Preliminary Examination
SBI PO 2022 Preliminary Examination consisting of Multiple-Choice Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The online objective test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Phase-II: SBI PO Main Examination
Main Exam will be conducted online and will consist of Multiple-Choice Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The SBI PO Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

Descriptive Test
The duration of SBI Probationary Officer Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.
Negative Marking: Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary & Main Examination): There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests.
Phase-III: SBI PO Psychometric Test/ Interview/ Group Exercises
Psychometric Test: The Bank will conduct Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for SBI Probationary Officer Phase-III. Finding of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.
The SBI Probationary Officer 3rd Phase may comprise of Group Exercise (20 Marks) and Interview (30 Marks).
Final Selection
Candidates must successfully pass both Phase-II and Phase-III assessments independently. The scores achieved in the Main Examination (Phase-II), which includes both the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be combined with the scores from Phase-III to determine the final merit list. It’s important to note that the scores from the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be factored into the final merit list used for the selection process.

SBI PO Recruitment 2023 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 03 October 2023 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of SBI Probationary Officer application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of SBI Probationary Officer application form in respect to that post for which they are applying.
