The selection process for the SECL Assistant Foreman (Electrical) 2025 recruitment consists of a single stage written examination followed by document verification.

Merit List Preparation
The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written test.
In case two or more candidates score the same marks, tie-breaking will be done in the following order:

If appointment dates are same, the older candidate will be placed higher. - Alphabetical Order of Name:
If the tie persists, the name will be arranged alphabetically (A to Z).

Documents Required
- Matriculation or Equivalent Marksheet / Certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Valid Electrical Supervisor Certificate (for Non-Diploma candidates)
- Experience certificate, Attendance record and any other relevant proofs

Verification & Forwarding Procedure
- The concerned Unit HR Officer and Staff Officer (HR) will verify eligibility criteria such as:
- Educational qualifications
- Experience and attendance records
- Annual Confidential Report (ACR) ratings
- Valid license or permit
- If any year’s ACR is graded as Poor during 2022-23, 2023-24 or 2024-25, the application will be rejected.
- Verified applications will be forwarded online through the SECL internal portal to the respective Area General Manager (AGM) for final approval.
- Applicants whose forms are rejected may submit representations (appeals) within the specified timeline along with supporting documents.
Examination & Admit Card
- The written test will be conducted centrally at SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur.
- Admit cards will be made available for download from the internal portal before the exam.
- Exam date, venue and other details will be notified separately through the same portal and official website.
Post-Selection Formalities
- Selected candidates’ pay and service benefits will be protected as per SECL rules.
- Final posting will be made according to company requirements in E&M (Electrical & Mechanical) divisions.
- Training for the Trainee category will be for two years, after which confirmation will be granted based on performance and verification.
