Objective Type Multiple Choice questions of three separate Computer Based Tests (CBTs) will be conducted, based on the education qualifications required for the post. The selection and final merit list of candidates will solely depend on their performance and marks secured in the Computer Based Examination.
Skill tests, such as Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test, may be required for certain posts, but will be considered qualifying in nature. The selection process for SSC Selection Post Phase 12 consists of three stages:
Computer Based Examination (CBE): The first stage of the selection process is a Computer Based Examination (CBE), which consists of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions. The CBE is conducted separately for each educational qualification required for the post.
Skill Test (if applicable): For certain posts, a Skill Test may be conducted, such as Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test. This stage is considered qualifying in nature and the candidates must clear this test to move on to the next stage.
Document Verification: The final stage of the selection process is the Document Verification, in which the documents of the shortlisted candidates are verified by the concerned authorities. Candidates who clear this stage are selected for the post.
Merit List: The final merit list and selection are based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Computer Based Examination.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts various exams to recruit candidates for different government posts.
