After ensuring the correctness of the details in the TNPSC CTS Recruitment 2025 application form, candidates are required to pay the Combined Technical Services Examination (Non – Interview Posts) application fee through the payment gateway on the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 25 June 2025 at 23.59 hrs.

TNPSC CTS Recruitment Age Limit |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the TNPSC CTS online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for TNPSC CTS is;

TNPSC CTS Selection Process 2025 |

| 1. Written Examination | Single-stage written exam for all posts. It includes Paper I and Paper II. |
| Paper I – Part A (Tamil) | Tamil Eligibility Test – 100 questions, SSLC standard, qualifying in nature. |
| Paper I – Part B & C | General Studies (Degree level) + Aptitude & Mental Ability (SSLC level) – 100 questions. |
| Paper II – Subject Paper | Specific to the post applied – 200 questions. Subjects vary post-wise. |
| Total Marks | 450 marks (150 for Paper I Part B & C + 300 for Paper II). |
| Qualifying Marks | 180 marks (for General category); 135 marks (for reserved categories). |
| 2. Certificate Verification | Onscreen document verification in 1:3 (Gen) and 1:2 (Reserved) ratio. |
| 3. Physical Certificate Verification & Counselling | Based on written exam marks and reservation. Ratio: 1:3 (Gen) and 1:1.5 (Reserved) or 1:1.2 if no counselling. |
| Final Selection | Based on marks in Part B & Part C of Paper I + Paper II only. No interview. |
⚠️ Paper I and Paper II are compulsory. If a candidate is absent for either, they are disqualified even if they score qualifying marks.
Ranking Tie-breakers:
- Higher qualification gets priority.
- If same, older age preferred.
- If age is also same, earlier application takes precedence

TNPSC CTS Recruitment 2025 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 25 June 2025 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of TNPSC CTS application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of TNPSC CTS application form in respect to that post for which they are applying.
