Assistant Manager (Credit)
- Graduate in any discipline And CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS OR
- Full time regular MBA/MMS/PGDM/PGDBM with specialization in Finance with minimum of 60% marks.
Assistant Manager (IT)
- Full time B.E./BTech/MCA/MSc (IT)/MS/MTech/5-year Integrated MTech degree in Computer Science Engineering/IT/Electronics/ Electronics & Computer Science/Electronics & Telecommunications/Data Science/Machine Learning & AI/Cyber Security.
- Minimum 1-year Post qualification experience.

Union Bank Assistant Manager Recruitment Selection Process 2025 |
The selection process for the notified posts in Union Bank of India may include an Online Examination, Group Discussion (GD), Screening of Applications and/or a Personal Interview (PI). The final selection method will depend on the number of applications received and the bank reserves the right to use any or all of these stages as necessary.
🔹 1. Online Examination (Objective Type)
If conducted, the online test will be structured as follows:

- The test (except English) will be available in English and Hindi.
- The bank may change the exam structure and will notify candidates through its official website.
- Detailed exam instructions will be available in an Information Handout along with the admit card.
⚠️ Important:
- Candidates must bring:
- A valid call letter
- Original photo ID proof (matching the name on the application)
- Late reporting will result in disqualification from the test.
- Exam Duration: Total time is 2.5 hours, but candidates should expect to spend at least 3.5 hours at the venue for document verification and login formalities.
❌ Negative Marking:
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- No deduction for unanswered questions.
🔹 2. Group Discussion (GD) – If Conducted
- Total Marks: 50
- Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 25
- SC/ST/OBC: 22.5
Only those who qualify in the GD will be called for the Personal Interview. Attending GD does not guarantee an interview call.
🔹 3. Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on:
- Online exam scores
- GD performance (if conducted)
Interview Marks: 50
Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 25
- SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 22.5
The interview assesses:
- Subject knowledge
- Communication skills
- Leadership, hobbies, expression, confidence and job suitability
Candidates will be called in a 1:3 ratio against vacancies (may vary at bank’s discretion)
🔹 4. Final Selection Criteria
i. Online Exam + Interview
Final merit will be based on the combined score of the Online Exam and Interview.
ii. Interview Only
If no exam is held, final selection will be based on Interview marks only.
iii. GD + Interview
If the exam is skipped and only GD & Interview are held, the aggregate of both will be used for merit ranking.
- In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate (by date of birth) will get preference
- If date of birth is also same, alphabetical order (in Hindi) of names will be used
