Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-II)
- Bachelor Degree in Science with Physics OR Mechanical Engineering as one of the subject.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagiri Script.
Law Officer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a Recognized University.
- Registration in the concerned Bar Council and 02 years practice experience certificate.
Technical Assistant (Geology)
- Candidates Must Have Master Degree with 50% Geology or Applied Geology or Diploma in Applied Geology.
Technical Assistant Geophysics
- Must have Post Graduate degree with at least 50% mark’s in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology or applied Geology (with physics, Mathematics at the B.Sc. level).

UPPSC PCS Selection Process |
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conducts the Provincial Civil Service (PCS) Exam for recruitment to various administrative posts in the Uttar Pradesh government. The selection process for the UPPSC PCS Exam involves three stages –
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview.
Preliminary Exam: The preliminary exam is the first stage of the selection process. It consists of two papers – General Studies I and General Studies II (CSAT). Both papers are objective type and carry a total of 400 marks. General Studies I covers topics such as Indian polity and governance, economy, history, and geography, while General Studies II (CSAT) tests candidates’ aptitude and comprehension skills.

The preliminary exam is a screening test, and candidates who qualify for this stage are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The cutoff for the preliminary exam is determined by the UPPSC based on the number of vacancies and the number of candidates who have appeared for the exam.
Mains Exam: The mains exam is the second stage of the selection process. It consists of eight papers – Essay, General Studies I, II, III, and IV, Optional Paper I and II, and Hindi. All papers are subjective and carry a total of 1500 marks. The Optional Papers I and II are chosen by the candidate from a list of subjects provided by the UPPSC.

The mains exam is a comprehensive test of the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of various subjects. Candidates who clear the mains exam are called for the interview.
Interview: The interview is the final stage of the selection process. It carries a total of 100 marks and is conducted to assess the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and overall suitability for the administrative position.
The interview panel consists of experienced officials who ask questions related to the candidate’s academic background, work experience, and general awareness. The interview is a crucial stage, and candidates must prepare well to leave a positive impression on the interview panel.
Final Merit List: The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the mains exam and interview. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam are not counted for the final merit list.
UPPSC PCS Cutoff 2023
The UPPSC determines the Cutoff for the final merit list based on the number of vacancies and the number of candidates who have appeared for the exam. The candidates who make it to the final merit list are offered the administrative posts in the Uttar Pradesh government.

UPPSC PCS Recruitment 2023 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 03 April 2023 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of UPPSC PCS application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
