• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council. OR
• B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.

OR

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council.
• Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital (registered with competent district medical authority).
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.

UPUMS Staff Nurse Exam 2024

Scheme of Examination: –

1. The duration of the Test shall be 03 hours.
2.  200 questions of 600 marks with four alternatives for each question (English & Hindi both languages).
   1. 170 questions related to Nursing subjects.
   2. 30 questions related to General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Mathematics)
3. There will be negative marking of 1/3 (0.33) marks for each wrong answer.
4. Minimum qualifying marks of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be: –
   1. 40% for General, EWS, OBC
   2. 35% for SC & ST

UPUMS Staff Nurse Syllabus 2024

The Staff Nurse syllabus will be in accordance with INC Syllabus, educational qualification and experience as mentioned in the Eligibility Section.

Document Verification 2024

The original certificates/documents of qualified candidates will be verified by UPUMS, Saifai. On the basis of UPUMS Staff Nurse Computer Based Online Examination, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.

• Education qualification certificates and Mark sheets i.e. High School, Intermediate, Professional Qualification etc.
• Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council Registration Certificate.
• Caste certificate if applied under SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS category issued by the competent authority.
• Experience certificates, if applicable.
• Latest scanned Passport Size Colored Photograph.
• Scanned signature of the candidate.
• Certificate showing the Date of Birth.
• Disability Certificate, if applied under PWBD category issued by the competent authority.
• Any other certificate as required to submit.
• Those who are employed with the State/Central Govt./PSUs, must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

The candidates are advised to bring UPUMS Staff Nurse Admit Card downloaded from UPUMS official website at the time of Computer Based Online Examination and must sign in the presence of Invigilator during the Examination, and the same should be brought during UPUMS Staff Nurse Document verification.
