MTS Stage-II Exam

The Stage-II Examination for the position of MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) is scheduled to take place on September 2nd, 2023. Here’s what you need to know about the syllabus and structure of the exam:

Syllabus and Sections:
The Stage-II Examination for MTS will have the following sections:

Section A – Language Test: You can choose either English or Hindi Language. This section will have 20 questions.

Section B – General Awareness including Computer Awareness: This section will have 20 questions on Computer Awareness and 20 questions on General Awareness.

Section C: This section will have 20 questions assessing Social Skills.

Nature and Passing Marks:
The Stage-II Examination for MTS is meant to be a qualifying round. The minimum marks required for qualification are as follows:

• Unreserved/General: 60%
• OBC (NCL): 55%
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: 50%

Exam Details:

• Duration: 90 minutes (1 and a half hours)
• Test of English or Hindi: This will evaluate your understanding of the chosen language, including Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and correct language usage.

General Awareness:

This part covers questions related to History, Indian Polity & Constitution, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Policy, Science & Scientific Research, National/International Organizations/Institutions, current events, and the environment.

Computer Awareness: Expect questions about Operating Systems, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Tally, Internet usage, Email, Antivirus, and various online tools used in daily office work.

Social Skills: This section focuses on evaluating your Communication Skills, Inter-personal Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Positive and Negative Thinking Skills, Empathy and Sympathy Skills, Situational Analysis, Health & Hygiene, Discipline, and Motivation.
