Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the ARIES MTS & Others online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observatory Sciences (ARIES) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. ARIES MTS & Others Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Assistant

• 3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering from a recognized board/ Institute.
• 3 years experience in the relevant field.
• Age Limit: 27 Years

Junior Engg. Asstt. (Electronics/ Electrical)

• Two years ITI Certificate in Electronics from a recognized board/ Institute.
• Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in the same trade.
• Age Limit: 27 Years

Junior Scientific Assistant

• B.Sc. With Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized University/ Institute.
• 02 years post qualification experience in scientific institute/laboratory in the relevant field.
• Age Limit: 27 Years

Personal Assistant

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Shorthand Speed: @80 w.p.m. In English.
• Dictation: The dictation will be given for 10 minutes which will be transcribed in 50 minutes.
• Age Limit: 30 Years

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Candidates should have 10th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
• Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English/Hindi. (corresponds to 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depression for each word)
• Age Limit: 25 Years

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS – Technical)

• ITI electronics mechanic/ technician power electronics/ instrument mechanic/ technician electronics system design/ from a recognized Institute.
• Age Limit: 25 Years

• ITI electrician, electrician power distribution from a recognized Board.
• Age Limit: 25 Years
