AR Compassionate Ground Age Limit |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the AR Compassionate Ground online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Assam Rifles (AR) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for AR Compassionate Ground is;

Assam Rifles Compassionate Ground Recruitment Eligibility Criteria |
General Duty
- Candidates should have passed 10th class from any recognized Board.
Personal Assistant
- Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (1 0+2) examination from recognized Board/University.
Draughtsman
- 10+2 or equivalent and 03 years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
Lineman Field
- 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electrician trade.
Recovery Veh Mech
- 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic or Recovery Vehicle Operator trade.
Plumber
- 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Plumber trade.
X-Ray Assistant
- 10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognised Board or University.

Candidates should submit their application form along with self-attested copies of necessary documents at the following address before or on the last date of application through Indian Postal Service/ Email only. Application received after the last date (28 January 2024) or applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.

Copies of the following certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.
- Educational and Professional qualification certificates.
- Copy of Birth Certificate or Class 10th Certificate.
- Copy Aadhaar Card/ Other ID Card.
- Caste Certificate, if candidate belong to reserved category.
- Character Certificate issued by the Sarpanch/ Gazetted Officer.
- Residential Certificate duly signed by the ADM/ DM or Tehsildar.
- Copy of Experience Certificate, if any.
- Attach other necessary relevant documents with the application form.
General Conditions & Instructions |
Candidates must clearly subscribe the word, “APPLICATION FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT” on the top of the envelope while sending the AR Compassionate Ground application form.
- Only one application should be submitted for the post. Candidates desirous of applying form separate posts should submit separate applications clearly indicating the post for which they have applied for.
- The application can be filled by the candidates only in English.
- Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
- No cutting or over harvesting in the AR Compassionate Ground application form.
- Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph AR Compassionate Ground application will be rejected.
- This Assam Rifles (AR) office shall not be responsible for any kind of delay.
- The candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name strictly as given in the matriculation certificate otherwise their candidature be cancelled as and when it comes into the notice of the Assam Rifles (AR).
