BSF Head Constable Ministerial Admit Card Released
In reference to short advertisement published in Employment News as well as leading newspapers on 06 August 2022 and online detailed advertisement uploaded on BSF website on 08 August 2022 for inviting online applications from eligible and aspiring candidates to fill up the vacancies of BSF ASI (Steno) & BSF Head Constable (Ministerial) posts through direct recruitment.
BSF Head Constable Ministerial Admit Card 2022
The tentative schedule for conduct of first phase of BSF Head Constable Ministerial and ASI (Steno) examination i.e. Physical Measurement & Documentation is 3rd week of December 2022 for BSF Head Constable Ministerial admit card shall be issued on 10 December 2022.
- Exam Start :- 21 December 2022
- Admit Card Available :- 10 December 2022
Accordingly, the recruitment process for the posts of BSF Head Constable (Ministerial) and ASI (Stenographer) in BSF Exam 2021-22 through Direct Entry will be carried out in following phases:-
PHASE-I
a) Physical Measurement
b) Documentation (Checking of documents)
BSF Head Constable and ASI Physical Test
The candidates declared qualified in the BSF Head Constable and ASI written examination (first phase) will appear in the second selection phase at different recruitment centres as decided by HQ DG BSF. The second selection phase will be qualifying in nature. BSF Head Constable and ASI Stages of second selection phase examination will be as follows :-

BSF Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam Pattern
- Paper Type: Objective type (MCQ)
- Total Questions: 100 Questions
- Maximum Marks: 100 Marks
- Time Duration: 01 Hour 40 Minutes
- Paper Language: The question papers will be printed in bilingual i.e in Hindi & English both

PHASE-III
a) Shorthand test for ASI (Steno)
b) Typing Speed test for HC (Min)
c) Medical Examination (DME/RME)
BSF ASI Stenography Test
Candidates for the post of ASI (Stenographer) who are found to be eligible in physical measurement will be allowed to appear in Stenography speed test. Candidates who opt to take the test in ‘English’ will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes and the candidates who opt ‘Hindi’ will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes.
BSF Head Constable Minitrial Typing Test
Candidates for the post of BSF Head Constable Minitrial who are found to be eligible in physical measurement will be allowed to appear in Typing test. Candidates who opt to take test in ‘English’ must have typing speed of 35 words per minute and candidates who opt to take test in ‘Hindi’ must have typing speed of 30 words per minute on computer.
