Application Fee

After ensuring the correctness of the details in the CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2023 application form, candidates are required to pay the CRPF Head Constable Ministerial and Assistant Sub Inspector ASI (Stenographer) application fee through the payment gateway on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available upto 31 January 2023 at 23.59 hrs.

CRPF Head Constable and ASI Age Limit

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2023 online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.

CRPF Head Constable and ASI Eligibility Criteria

Head Constable (Ministerial)

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent exam from any recognized board/ university in India.
• Typing Test: 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.

( 35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi corresponding to 10500 key depressions per hour in English 9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer)

Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno)

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent exam from any recognized board/ university in India.
• Skill Test:- Dictation : 10 Minutes @ 80 WPM, Transcription : 50 Minutes in English or 65 Minutes in Hindi

CRPF Head Constable / ASI Written Exam

The Examination will consist of Computer Based Test (CBT), Skill Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Documents Verification and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All these stages of the Examination are mandatory. Details of these Papers/Tests is as follows:-

Computer Based Test (CBT) : The Computer Based Test will consist of one paper with 100 objective type questions to be attempted in 1.5  hours (90 Minutes). Marks scored by the candidates in CBT will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut off marks.

Language: Section B,C,D will be set as bilingual. Questions will be of Objective Multiple choice type, Question will be set in Hindi and English language.

Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

Paper Level: The question in the CBT will be of Intermediate level.

Candidates will be shortlisted for CRPF HC (Ministerial) / ASI (Steno) Document Verification from the pool of candidates who qualify in Computer Based Test (CBT), Skill Test and Physical Standard Test (PST). The candidates are advised to carry original documents along with self attested photocopies of the same with them at the time of reporting at CRPF Head Constable / ASI Recruitment Centre.
