The preliminary exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is conducted online. The duration of the exam is two hours, and the total marks for the exam are 100.

The syllabus for the preliminary exam includes subjects like General Knowledge, English Language, Test of Reasoning, Numerical & Mental Ability and Basics of Computer Applications., and Indian Law.

Gujarat High Court Civil Judge Main Written Exam 2023

The main written exam is the second stage of the selection process for Civil Judges in the Gujarat High Court. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the main written exam. The main written exam consists of subjective questions, and the duration of the exam is three hours.

The main written exam consists of two papers, namely, Civil Law, Criminal Law. Each paper carries a total of 100 marks.

Gujarat High Court Civil Judge Viva-Voce Test 2023

The final stage of the selection process for Civil Judges in the Gujarat High Court is the viva-voce or the interview. Candidates who clear the main written exam are called for the viva-voce. The viva-voce is conducted by a panel of judges, and the duration of the interview is around 20-25 minutes.

The viva-voce carries a total of 50 marks, and the candidates are evaluated on various parameters like their knowledge of the law, communication skills, and personality.
