Indian Military Academy Age Limit 2023

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Indian Military Academy online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. IMA Dehradun Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

MT Driver (Ordinary Grade)

• Matriculation passes or equivalent from recognized Board.
• Must possess the Civilian Driving License for heavy vehicles and have two years’ experience of driving such vehicles.

LDC

• 12th class or equivalent
• English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. or Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m on computer.
• Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m
• Should have basic computer knowledge (including MS Office).

Cook Special

• Matriculation passes or equivalent from recognized Board.
• Matriculation passes or equivalent from recognized Board.

Waiter

• Matriculation passes or equivalent from recognized Board.

Groundsman

• Matriculation passes or equivalent from recognized Board.
• Must be conversant with the duties of Groundsman.

MTS (Chowkidar)

• Passed Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board.

Groom

Indian Military Academy Selection Process 2023

• Written Exam
• Practical/ Skill Test/ Physical Test (As applicable)
• Document Verification
• Medical Fitness Test

Candidates will be selected solely on their merit. The selection process consists of a written test and a skill test. The final merit list will be determined based on the marks obtained in the written test and the successful completion of the skill test.

The written test question papers will be available in both English and Hindi. However, questions related to the English Language subject will be presented only in English. The syllabus for the test will be Intermediate level for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Matriculation level for other positions and trades.

Skill Test: For the skill test, only those candidates who qualify and make it to the merit list in the written test will be invited. During the skill test, candidates will be assessed on their practical aptitude for the specific job they applied for. LDC applicants should have a good understanding of computer knowledge and applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting.

Candidates should submit their application form along with self-attested copies of necessary documents at the following address before or on the last date of application through Indian Postal Services only (Registered post/Speed post). Application received after the last date (16 October 2023) or applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.

• Caste Certificate, if candidate belong to reserved category.
• Domicile Certificate & Residential Certificate.
• Copy of Birth Certificate/ Age Proof.
• Self-attested photocopy of Aadhar Card.
• Experience Certificate, if applicable.
• Indian Postal Order of Rs. 50/-, if applicable.
• Two self-attested passport size photographs.
• Enclose two self-addressed envelopes with postage stamp of Rs.5/- on each.
• Application form to be filled in English duly signed and affixed photograph to be self-attested.
• Attach other necessary documents with the application form.

General Instructions & Conditions

Interested candidates should send their applications as per format attached and properly sealed in an envelope to subscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ________ CATEGORY_____” on the top of envelope.

• Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
• The application can be filled by the candidates either in English or Hindi.
• Separate application for each post should be applied. One candidate shall apply only one application.
• The date of written test / skill or trade test/ Interview (as applicable) will be intimated to eligible candidates separately.
• No cutting or over harvesting in the Indian Military Academy application form.
• Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph Indian Military Academy application will be rejected.
