PGCIL Diploma Trainee Age Limit

Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the PGCIL Diploma Trainee Recruitment 2023 online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted.

PGCIL Diploma Trainee Vacancy 2023

Diploma Trainee (Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics)	425	Training period- Rs. 27,500/- pm. After Training- Rs. 25,000 –3%- 1,17,500 (IDA).

PGCIL Diploma Trainee Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

• Full-Time Regular 03 Years Diploma in relevant discipline of engineering with Minimum 70% marks from recognized Technical Board / Institute.
• Higher technical qualification like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. / ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed. Qualification acquired through distance mode will not be considered.

PGCIL Diploma Trainee Selection Process

The selection process shall consist of Written Test (Computer Based Test) of eligible candidates. Written Test shall be of Objective Type (each question shall have four answer options) of two hours’ duration consisting of two parts –

• Part-I: consists of Technical Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions from respective discipline.
• Part-II: consists of Supervisory Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, data sufficiency and interpretation, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, numerical ability etc.
• Marking: All questions carry equal marks (1 mark). Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼.
