Application Fee

Payment Mode: Candidates applying for the posts in response to this Notification have to pay the prescribed Fee as below payable in the form of Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO/ICF payable at Chennai. Candidates should write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order.
ICF Chennai Recruitment Age Limit
The crucial date for determining the age limit will be the closing date for receipt of ICF Chennai Recruitment application form. Only Matriculation/ SSC/ 10th class marksheet/ Birth Certificate issued by concerned Education Board/ Competent Authority will be considered as proof of Date of Birth.

Railway ICF Chennai Vacancy 2023
ICF Chennai Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Senior Clerk (Level-5)
- Candidates must have Degree from recognized university.
- Read official notification for details of sports qualification.
Junior Clerk (Level-2)
- 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from any recognized board/ university.
- Read official notification for details of sports qualification.
Technician Gr. III (Level-2)
- 10th standard pass, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be three years.
- ITI qualification in the relevant engineering trades, in which case it will be 6 months.
- Read official notification for details of sports qualification.
Those who are selected as ICF Chennai Senior Clerk/Junior Clerk are required to be proficient in typing at a rate of 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi within a four-year time period from the date of appointment, else their appointments will be regarded as provisional. ICF Chennai Recruitment Selection Process
Railway ICF Chennai Document Verification
The eligible candidates will be called for document verification before trials. It is mandatory to produce original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates on the day of document verification, failing which he/she will be disqualified and will not be allowed to appear for the trial.
- Date of Birth Certificate
- All Educational Qualification (indicated in Para 2).
- Sports achievements (indicated in Para 4).
- Community certificate and other relevant certificates for exemption in fees, if applicable.
- 2 recent passport size photos and E-call letter.
- Valid photo ID (viz., Aadhaar card / PAN card / Passport / Driving license) in original.
ICF Chennai Sports Trials Date and Time
The candidates who apply in response to this notification and are found eligible for consideration for appointment against ICF Chennai sports quota will be assessed based on their performance during ICF Chennai Sports Trials & Interview.

Sports Trials for the eligible candidates shall be conducted by a Trial Committee to assess the sports performance and suitability for ICF team as well as Indian Railways Team. Trial Committee shall give the recommendations in terms of either FIT or NOT FIT for consideration for next stages.

Candidates who are found FIT in the Trial will only be considered for the ICF Chennai sports quota recruitment next stage i.e Interview. The distribution of marks shall be as under:-

Minimum qualifying marks for recruitment through Open Advertisement in different pay levels, shall be as follows:-

ICF Sports Quota Recruitment Postal Address

Candidates should submit their application form along with self-attested copies of necessary documents at the following address before or on the last date of application through offline mode only (Ordinary Post Post Only). Application received after the last date (07 February 2023) or applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.
Required Documents to be Attached with the Application Form
Copies of the following certificates should be sent along with the application. Original certificates should not be sent with the application.
- Educational and Technical Qualification / Typing qualification (if any).
- Copies of certificates of essential sports achievements as prescribed in para 4 above.
- Caste Certificate, if candidate belong to reserved category.
- Copy of Birth Certificate and Residence certificate.
- Transfer Certificate /School Leaving Certificate (last studied).
- Copy of Aadhaar Card/ Any Id Card.
- Original Demand Draft. As applicable to your category.
- Department / Government service candidates must enclose a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer.
- Certificates in languages other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation in English / Hindi.
- Attach other necessary documents with the application form.
General Conditions & Instructions
- Candidates must clearly subscribed the word, “APPLICATION FOR SPORTS RECRUITMENT (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT)” 2022-23” on the top of the envelope while sending the ICF Chennai application form.
- Fill all the columns of the application yourself, In plain and Capital letters.
- No cutting or over harvesting in the ICF Chennai application form.
- Candidates applying for more than one posts shall submit separate applications for each post.
- Incomplete, incorrect, wrongly filled, over writing, without signature, without photograph ICF Chennai application form will be rejected.
