Application Fees

After ensuring the correctness of the details in the RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023 application form, candidates are required to pay the RBI Assistant application fee through the payment gateway on the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available up to 04 October 2023 at 23.59 hrs.

  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate.

Section III: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination will be required to undergo a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). This LPT will be conducted in the Official or Local Language(s) of the respective State, as specified in Annex-IV. Candidates who are not proficient in the Official or Local Language will be disqualified.

Important Points:

  • All online tests, with the exception of the Test of English Language, will be available in both English and Hindi.
  • To proceed to the next stage, a candidate must pass each part of the Objective test individually.
  • To qualify for the Main Examination, a candidate must first pass the Preliminary Examination.
  • Negative marks will be assigned for incorrect answers in the Objective tests (both Preliminary and Main). A deduction of 1/4th marks will be made for each wrong answer.
  • The Bank will shortlist an adequate number of candidates in each category from the Preliminary stage (approximately 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability) and the Main examination (approximately 02 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability). This will be based on the aggregate marks obtained, with candidates arranged in descending order.
  • Further detailed information about the examination will be provided in an Information Handout, which candidates can download along with their examination Call Letter from the RBI’s website.

Candidates who are selected will initially be assigned to the Bank’s office within the Recruitment Zone corresponding to their application. However, it’s important to note that they may be subject to transfer in cases of administrative requirements to offices categorized within the East, West, North, and South Zones as detailed below:

East Zone: Kolkata (including Gangtok), Bhubaneswar, Guwahati (including Shillong, Agartala, Aizwal, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima), Patna (including Ranchi).

West Zone: Ahmedabad, Bhopal (including Raipur), Mumbai (including Belapur, Pune, Panaji), Nagpur.

North Zone: Chandigarh (including Shimla), Jaipur, Jammu / Srinagar, Kanpur (including Lucknow & Dehradun), New Delhi.

South Zone: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram (including Kochi).

RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 04 October 2023 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of RBI Assistant application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

  • Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age limit, etc.) by last date of submission of RBI Assistant application form in respect to that post for which they are applying.
