RMLIMS Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria

• (i) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing OR B.Sc. (Post- Certificate) / Post- Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
• (ii) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council. OR
• (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
• (ii) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
• (iii) Two years’ experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the qualification.

RMLIMS Nursing Officer Selection Process 2024

To get your hall ticket for the Common Recruitment Test (CRT), you can simply go to the Institute’s website at www.drrmlims.ac.in and print it out. The test itself will be computer-based and bilingual, available in both Hindi and English.

The CRT will last for 02 hours and will be worth 100 marks. It consists of multiple-choice questions covering various subjects. 60 marks are dedicated to the subject(s) relevant to the post you’re applying for, and the remaining 40 marks are divided among General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude, each worth 10 marks.

Remember, there’s a negative marking system: you’ll gain one mark for each correct answer but lose one-fourth (1/4th) of a mark for each incorrect one.

Now, regarding the qualifying marks, you’ll need to achieve at least 50% if you’re in the Unreserved, EWS category and 40% if you belong to SC, ST, OBC or PwBD categories.

After the test, the final merit list will be compiled based solely on the marks obtained in the computer-based exam. Each category (Unreserved, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) will have its own separate list and ranks will be assigned accordingly.

For the Unreserved category all applicants will be considered, including those from reserved categories. However, for each reserved category, only applicants from that specific category will be taken into account. This process applies across all reserved categories.
