SGPGIMS Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria

• B.Sc Nursing (4 year course) / B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) (2 year course) OR
• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board /Council.
• Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
• Two-years experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital.

SGPGI Staff Nurse Selection Process

The Staff Nurse selection process will solely be based on the scores obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT). Candidates can easily access and print their CRT hall ticket online through the SGPGIMS website at www.sgpgims.org.in.

SGPGI Staff Nurse CRT 2023

The Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for Staff Nurse positions will be conducted for a duration of two hours and carry a total of 100 marks. The examination will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs).

The Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for Staff Nurse positions will consist of 80% theoretical questions related to Nursing knowledge and 20% practical questions regarding the application of Nursing work, including 10% focused on COVID-related work.

The syllabus for the exam can be found on the SGPGIMS website. It is important to note that there will be no negative marking in the examination, and the language for the test will be offered in both English and Hindi.

Minimum qualifying marks of the Common Recruitment Test for the post will be:-

• General & EWS- 40% Marks
• SC,ST & OBC- 35% Marks

SGPGI Staff Nurse Final Merit List

The Final Merit List for the Staff Nurse selection process will be determined exclusively based on the marks achieved in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for each category, including General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc. Rankings will be assigned to all eligible applicants accordingly.

When creating the selection list for the General category, all candidates, including those from reserved categories, will be considered. However, when preparing the selection list for a specific reserved category, only applicants belonging to that particular category will be evaluated. This same method will be applied for all reserved categories.
