After ensuring the correctness of the details in the Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 application form, candidates are required to pay the Technical & Tradesman Rally application fee through the payment gateway on the Assam Rifles (AR) website integrated with the online application. Online fee payment through Net Banking or debit / credit card will be available up to 19 November 2023 at 23.59 hrs.

Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman Age Limit |
Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman online application form and the same recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent/ Birth certificate will be accepted by the Assam Rifles (AR) for determining the age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. The age limit for Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman is;

Assam Rifles Recruitment Selection Process |
The selection process shall be a three-stage process consisting of the following stages: –
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Exam
- Document Verification
- Medical Fitness Test
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a crucial step in the selection process. It will be carried out for all candidates who have successfully passed the initial document verification. The requirements for the PET are as follows:
For candidates from all parts of India, except for the Ladakh Region:
- Male candidates must complete a 5 kilometer run within 24 minutes.
- Female candidates must complete a 1.6 kilometer run within 8.30 minutes.
For candidates from the Ladakh Region:
- Male candidates must complete a 1.6-kilometer run within 7.00 minutes.
- Female candidates must complete an 800-meter run within 5.00 minutes.
Candidates who pass the PET, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Document Verification will move on to the next stage, which includes the Trade Test (Skill Test), Written Test, and Detailed Medical Examination.
Trade Test (Skill Test)
The Trade Test for technical and tradesmen personnel will be conducted after the completion of the PET/PST. It’s important to note that no marks will be awarded for the Trade Test. Only candidates who pass the Trade Test will be eligible to appear in the Written Test.
Written Test
The Written Test is worth 100 marks. The minimum pass marks for General/EWS candidates are 35%, while SC/ST/OBC candidates require 33% to pass.
Candidates who successfully complete the PET/PST/Document Verification/Trade Test/Written Test will be shortlisted for the next stage, which is the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The selection for DME will be based on the candidates’ performance in the Written Test, and approximately four times the number of vacancies will be considered for this stage.
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME)
The DME and RME will be conducted in accordance with the Uniform Guidelines for recruitment Medical Examination for Government Officers and Non-Government Officers in Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles.
Merit List and Call for Training
Candidates who qualify in all aspects, including PST, PET, Trade Test, Written Exam, and Medical Examination Test, will be placed on the Merit List based on their trade and category. Instructions to join the Training Centre for enrollment will be issued based on the Merit List. It’s important to understand that simply passing all tests doesn’t guarantee final selection in the Assam Rifles.
The final selection will be determined by the candidate’s position on the Merit List and the availability of vacancies in their respective State/Union Territory/Category/Trade.

Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023 On-line Registration and Submission process will be terminated by 19 March 2023 at 23.59 hrs. Candidature of such applicants who fail to complete online submission of Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman application form by stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
